How the price check works

1. AI identifies it

Vision AI recognizes the item — brand, model and condition — from a single photo.

2. Real market data

We check comparable eBay listings, not made-up numbers, to estimate what it actually sells for.

3. Sell it if you want

The Reclaim app writes the full listing and posts it to eBay and Facebook Marketplace in one tap.

Why sold data beats asking prices

Most people guess an item’s value by looking at what other sellers are asking for it. That’s the single most common pricing mistake: asking prices reflect hope, while sold prices reflect the market. An item “listed at $80” that consistently sells for $50 is a $50 item. This tool estimates from comparable eBay listings — the same approach we explain in our guide to pricing used items. The estimate is a range because condition, completeness (box, cables, accessories), and timing all move the final price, and it’s always worth checking recent sold comps yourself before you list. When you’re ready to sell, the Reclaim app does the identification, pricing, and listing in one step from the same photo.
